What are SMART Display campaigns
SMART Display campaigns are a popular type of Google Ads campaigns that allows you to advertise on the Google Display Network. You can very easily reach your target audience while reaching your customers through remarketing. Moreover, they are ideal for those who do not have a Google Merchant Center, because an XML feed is also sufficient. Simply select products from your existing data feed using conditions and feed mapping, create an ad, and launch your campaign.

What are the biggest advantages of PPC Bee SMART Display campaigns?

1. Have full control over your ads
  • Optimize banner product names thanks to custom variables (1.)
  • Simply specify which images are the best for the banners (2.)
  • Adjust the price of products according to your needs (various currencies, rounding format, etc.) (3.)
  • Add the sale price (4.)
2. Create a campaign within just a few minutes thanks to an XML feed filtering
  • Segment your SMART Display campaign easily by categories, price levels or other parameters from the XML feed

How to create SMART Display campaign
As you are used to, name your campaign and choose from which data source you want to import products. Contrary to Google Ads, PPC Bee allows you to restrict the selection of products that will be sent to the SMART Display campaign

The next step is to create a feed to get your products for dynamic ads using feed mapping. By mapping your feed, you are creating a special feed for your SMART Display campaign based on the original data feed. At the same time, you can edit the attributes which will be shown in the ads.

Now it’s time to create responsive ads. PPC Bee fully supports the creation of responsive advertisements, including image cropping

The last but one step is to set up Google Ads. There you can set your budget and mainly the preferred smart bidding strategy. Finally, all that’s left to do is to synchronize the SMART Display campaign with the advertising system.
TIP: It’s possible to cover all the products from your online store within a single SMART Display campaign. However, we recommend creating a campaign for each category separately. This will give you a better overview of the performance of your campaigns and the set up of different business goals (tCPA, tROAS, and Maximize conversions).

The ultimate goal of PPC Bee is to become an all-in-one online advertising management tool. With the launch of SMART Display campaigns, its reach extends beyond search. Not only you can easily manage search advertising with PPC Bee, but you can also just as easily create ads on the Google Display Network. And thanks to this you can manage most of your online campaigns from just one place.

Capitalization in Ads

In the past, PPC Bee automatically changed your capitalized words. Because of them your ads can be rejected (primarily by AdWords). There are, however, several clients whose brand name is comprised of uppercase letters, and there was no way for them to keep this in their ads. Thus we have decided to meet their needs and now we have enabled capitalized words in ads.
